I attended SOA training from Oracle and also a weekend training batch. Oracle training was at best an overview, as I found later I did not know many things I should be knowing and was very expensive. The weekend course cost less but was still overwhelming due to the amount of information to grasp over 2 weekends. I realized that I would have learnt more if lectures were shorter. This training has been designed to deliver the subject at a low cost and in easy to follow 1.5 hour lectures that give you enough time to grasp concepts, and play with them.

 Training is structured as 16 sessions of 1.5 hours each, so that you get introduced to one concept at a time and get enough time to practice that one concept.
Sessions would be held on alternate days.
The batches are scheduled at 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM CST or 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM PST 11:00 PM to 00:30 AM EST.
If one misses any lecture, there is a provision to get the recording of that session, subject to a maximum of 2 recordings overall.
The training is provided over the web using webconferencing software, so you just need a computer to attend it. Both video and sound shall come through the computer
The trainer can take control of your machine and assist you in resolving any issues
Detailed notes is provided on each topic and step by step instructions will be provided to execute the exercises
Each topic will be explained using live demo of the concept, starting from scratch
